Are I2C pins available with the HAT2 installed?

Hello Steve,
yes it is possible but you need to solder a pin header to the proper location on the board. This pin header is not assembled by default.

See the pinout below. Be aware that you will loose warranty, if you solder the pin header on your own or modify the HAT in any other way.

How about using a GPIO expansion board/header to access the pins? Something like this below. I also want I2C but do not want to modify the HAT.

Yes, you could use this adapter, then you don’t need to solder the pin header onto the HAT.
